Serene. That is how we would like to describe Tsomgo, the lake that is worshipped by Sikkimese. At Gangtok you have Tiger Hills for sunrise view of Mt. Kanchanjunga. Ghoom monastery, one of the holiest monasteries, is laden with rare books of Buddhism. Kalimpong, another beautiful destination is nestled in the lush green mid ranges of the Himalayas, and has an incredible stunning backdrop of towering snow capped peaks. Other popular tourist locales include Batasia Loop - a photographer’s dream, Rock garden, Gangamaya, Zoo, HMI & Tibetian Handicraft center reflecting the rich culture.

EASTERN HIMALAYA 7 NIGHTS & 8 DAYS

Day 1Meet & greet at NJP railway station/Bagdogra Airport, then proceed to Darjeeling (about 90 kms/ 3 hrs) by sumo/coach, night stay in hotel.
Day 2Wake up at 04:30 hrs for early morning sightseeing of Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastry Batasia Loop. Return to hotel for breakfast and then start for sightseeing to cover Rock Garden, Gangamaya, Zoo, HMI & Tibetain Handicraft Centre. Dinner and night stay at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 3After breakfast, transfer to Kalimpong (3 hrs), and night stay at hotel.
Day 4After breakfast Kalimpong local sightseeing (Durpin Dara View monastery, Chitravanu, Pine view nursery etc), after lunch transfer to Gangtok.
Day 5Early morning breakfast and departure for Tsomgo Lake, Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (14000 ft, 54 km). Dinner and night stay at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 6After breakfast transfer to Pelling (6800 ft, 132 km/5 hr), night stay in hotel.
Day 7After breakfast Pelling sightseeing (Rimbi falls, Kanchanjungha falls, Khecheopalri Wish Lake), back to hotel for Lunch, after lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins & view point, night stay in hotel.Day 8After breakfast transfer to NJP Railway Station/ Bagdogra (145 km / 5 hrs).
